I think I'm becoming addicted to EP
I came across this sight early December while I was searching for support networks for my freshly diagnosed Chronic Illness. I left it for a while than i joined up and started to fill in my profile, and eventually added my main story. I wasnt quite sure how this sight worked till about a week ago, now I am finding I cant wait to get on it and add more. Talk to others and browse, I hope it doesnt become too addictive!… [more]

    Currently Addicted to You Tube
I'm currently addicted to Youtube Videos, I cant stop watching gross stuff like, cysts, abscess, infections and drainage. I find it fascinating, I dont think I could watch it in real life though. Youtube can take you to some really yukky places, I saw this very graphic video of a fatal car accident in a foriegn country, it was'nt very nice at all, I would have hated to have been a ambulance driver first on the scene. DNA would have been needed to identify the person. Was a bit scary!… [more]

Today I'm feeling a little tired, i didnt sleep well last night. i hope tonight is better. My legs have felt quite heavy today. I dont want to go backwards, nothing can be as scary as not having the use of them. I cant wait to come off the prednisone, then maybe i wont be so hungry. I feel so unattractive with my big moon face. I have a headache this evening, I have taken something for it. i also have a cold I hope it doesnt take too long to get over. Having an autoimmune disease and taking immune suppresent drugs means it takes longer to get over an illness. I changed my pain patch today, I have been able to get away with changing it about every 4 days, but by the forth day I am really feel… [more]

Today is New Years Eve, Im about to head out to a friends place to celebrate. I'm feeling very thankful today, I'm so glad I'm alive to see the new year in. I'll never forget when I was in hospital and the Occupational Therapist said to me, "I bet when you were celebrating NEW YEARS EVE last year you didnt expect to be dead in six months" Very true, that thought had never crossed my mind, I would never have thought that at 38 yrs old i was going to go into cardiac arrest and have CPR done on me for 45 mins, then be fighting for my life. Here I am now with a freshly diagnosed illness and happy to be alive, to spend time with my son. I have a better out look on life than i did this time last y… [more]
