    It's like water... beading down the leaf, until it reaches its apex only to collect into itself and drop again. It was a significant thought at first, but then time stopped, and no one knew why. She thought that maybe it was her. Maybe she was the reason. She'll never know anyway, because I left before she woke. Symbols emblazoned upon her tongue could not hide the shadows. Lies and foul were all about her. Eyes flaming low. Surely she knew more than she lead me to believe. I told her to stop at the egde, but she said it was too iconic.     I hate to call people out on their misrepresentation of a rough life, but i feel inclined to speak of things people should be greatful for. I cant say how often i hear someone from a first-world caste complain about how hard they have had it and how they have no friends, or how they have had a horrible life and have nothing left to do but mope. I know that there are exceptions, but at this very moment i am overhearing a conversation about someone who is 'overworked', when there are so many in this world that dont even have the convenience of a job or even an opportunity for one.     Given that I am in a rather trendy place to start with doesn't help, but in being female I just feel like I gotta get this off my shoulders. I look around me today and see the styles and colours people wear, and I am all for unique presentation but some of these 12 - 17 year old girls are (pardon the expression) slutty! God forbid I dressed the way 12 year old girls dress today when I was but a lass :P in a sense it almost makes me feel ancient to see that in such a short time, so much can change. I read in the paper the other day about the contreversy of young kids doing a dance routine to "Beyonce". The further I read, the more enraged I became! I looked at the photo they had and I'… [more]
