I Trust God

I Am Learning To Trust God Yesterday morning while in prayer, He reminded me to trust Him.   He said that the way to truly trust Him is to acknowledge Him in all that I do.   In the small things, in the big things, important... [more]

  • Sickness IS Beneath Me

    Posted on: April 11th, 2012 at 6:31PM

Yesterday, I came down with this stomach virus of some sort at about 1pm.   I started feeling dizzy, the room was spinning, I couldn't sit up without feeling sick.   Thinking that I had not drank any water in a couple of days, I thought that that was the issue.   So I swallowed a bottle of water...nothing changed.   My my stomach really turning upside down, I went a laid down, took a nap for a bit.   Waking up at around 3pm, the room was still spinning and my stomach was ready to burst.   Running into the bathroom, I vomited.   My days leading up to yesterday were fine, I was feeling good, but for some reason, I was sick. As I was kneeling by the toilet, I just started to pray and command th… [more]

  • My 34th-Year Resolution

    Posted on: March 19th, 2012 at 5:22PM

A while back, maybe two years ago I woke up on the morning of my birthday and heard the Lord say, "Your year begins today."   At the time, I had just gone through a huge change in my life, so to hear these words that morning sparked something in me; lit a flame.   He told me not to set goals on January 1st as most of the world, but that my year begins and began on another date, the day in which I was born.   So this year is my 34th year of existence and my goal is to make it the best year of my existence.   Here's the goal: to be the best servant of God that I can be, to be the best servant of the church of God that I can be, to be the best servant of my leaders that I can be and to be the b… [more]

  • Eyes TO See

    Posted on: March 13th, 2012 at 1:05PM

The word of the Lord came to me and said, "I have given you eyes to see that which others will not see." This came about when I had an meeting with a young man on the campus at my church. One Sunday morning, as I was walking towards the church doors, I saw a young man walking through the sanctuary coming my direction. The fact that I saw him walking through the sanctuary was amazing because from the outside of the church, you cannot see inside the sanctuary. So as I watched this young man walk through and the first and then second set of doors, I could see the hurt, the frustration and the cry for help on his face. Admittedly, I ignored it. I went inside the church, sat down in my seat and… [more]

  • 'den of thieves'

    Posted on: March 14th, 2012 at 2:11PM

And He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer', but you have made it a 'den of thieves'." [Matthew 21:13] Recently, the Lord has been dealing with me about "the church". And the area of most concern was PRIDE. The Lord has shown me or opened my eyes to the fact that the church, His church has become infested with the SPIRIT OF PRIDE. This is not a new thing but an old issue that has been destroying God's house(church, synagogue or temple) for generations. Back in the days of Jeremiah, the prophet was instructed by God to address the issues of PRIDE in the Lord's house. In Jeremiah, chapter 7, verse 11, God says ' Has this house, which is called by name… [more]
