    I have to word hard not to be late......
    I am an artist. I sometimes wonder what it would be like, not to think the way I do. How different a person would I be if instead of being able to draw I could perform fantastic mathematical calculations in my head? Would I still be the same person? Would I still analyze everything to the point of annoyance ? Would I still be quite aggessive and opinionated? Being a visually creative person affects so many areas of my life. For example, when watching a film, I sometimes lose the plot because I am too busy analyzing, sometimes frame by frame, studying the camera angles and reasons for certain choices.     The truth? I think religious people are brainwashed.
    I have studied the origins of religion extensively, My fascination lies with ancient Mesapotamia, the birthplace of Abraham (and therefore the Jewish, Islamic and Christian religions, respectively) and realise how people have been psychologically and traditionally indoctrinated to follow religion. I believe that they truly believe it. This is bad. Really bad. Why haven't we, as a species outgrown it yet? That's what I strive to get to the bottom of. The tide is a turning, but far slower that I'd like. Religious people have more children, so it could take hundreds of generations before humanity completely wakes up.
