    Being 28 hasn't been the easiest year of my life but it also hasn't been the hardest either. I was recently diagnosed with Graves Disease and in two weeks I've been scheduled for radiation treatment. From this diagnoses other things have happened. My ankles have gotten swollen and I was put on beta blockers to help reduce my heart rate. From this my mother had called last night drunk ...its sad within the first 5 seconds of hearing her on the phone I don't want to talk to her. She continued to lecture and scold me like I'm 5 and can't make my own health decisions about my swollen ankles. She continued to tell me that its more from the medication and my heart beat being to low cuz of the meds… [more]
