I've come to the understanding that there are two types of thinkers in this world: Those who are content with the surface and those who delve deep into thought. I'm a digger and would love to share my thoughts with others of the same thinking pool, even if we disagree. That said, I will talk to almost anyone and am a good friend to have. Any real friend I have had will tell you I am fiercely loyal and expect nothing less in return.

  • Was lying in bed, thinking...

I think I may have had some sort of revelation as I lay trying to sleep. I have been convinced that my life revolves around my fears of things; fear of rejection, fear of failure, fear of being yelled at... I always had thought that perhaps it stemmed from the way I was raised. I now am beginning to think that perhaps I was born this way.My earliest known fear was the fear that perhaps I would become insane. A stupid fear, I think, yet none the less it was a big one for me growing up. Then there was the fear of becoming my biological father... Abusive to people around me, trying to gain control of things. So I gave up control. If I give up control, I can't possibly be like him, now ca… [more]

  • The "Selfish" Idea

    Posted on: January 31st, 2010 at 2:19PM

"I believe all suffering is caused by ignorance. People inflict pain on others in the selfish pursuit of their happiness or satisfaction. Yet true happiness comes from a sense of peace and contentment, which in turn must be achieved through the cultiv."~Dalai Lama (Head of the Dge-lugs-pa order of Tibetan Buddhists, 1989 Nobel Peace Prize, b.1935) (Bibliography 1)Have you every felt like you were the only thing real in this world? That your own mind created this intricate world and all you have to do to control it is figure out how? Mind over matter? Or action to create a desired effect? • Todays List:

    Posted on: November 21st, 2009 at 8:00PM

Been busy today... my fiance's mother called me a "busy bee" for once. It started with picking up the dirty clothes in the bedroom and putting them into the hamper, bringing down a bunch of clothes from the bathroom as well as a couple of blankets. Then I cleaned out the sink, scrubbed it like four times with different cleaners. Finished the few dishes we are unable to stick into the dishwasher, took a brief break and played Cafe World on facebook, which I LOVE, for about a half an hour, then kicked the clothes down the stairs to the basement to be washed and started scrubbing the stove. Tasha loved the results when she got home from work. I know I've been busy today yet I feel as if I… [more]
