I watched Jonah Mowry's video: what's goin about 1:00am on December 8th and it really touched and inspired me because I've hit rock bottom just like he did. It was about 2:00am when I started to make this video because I just couldn't sleep until I did. My story is quite different than Jonah's. I was sexually abused by a trusted adult in my family as a child (not my father, nor any other member who is alive now). Also, I have been sexually assaulted twice in two different cases. Things used to be really hard because I didn't speak up about what happened to me or how I was feeling, and I was dealing with the effects of it alone. Although I was hurting I never let it show, and lived by the saying, " Fake it 'til you make it" every day. I hit a really low point where I had to get tell others, so I could get support in order to save my life. I'm not telling my story to get pity from anyone, but to help others who have lost hope. Talk to someone you trust about what you've been through/going through and/or how you feel. It will get better. You were created for an incredible purpose by an amazing God who loves you more than you can ever imagine. He's healing me. You are loved and you will make it, just hanging there. You are strong.
