Haha, after almost 26 years on this wild ride of a planet, I'm still trying to figure myself out. I'll update this section as I do. I'm better at sharing when asked questions directly...I prefer interpersonal communication but messaging I can make do with. :) For right now, I'll start by saying I'm a nerdy, guy; I have a love of almost any British Comedy or Science Fiction TV show you can imagine. I grew up with Monty Python in one ear, Frank Zappa in the other, and a love of the weird and wonderful universe we live in. I'm constantly fascinated by the different stories people have to tell, and learned very early on never to judge a book by it's blurb, or a person by their outward appearance. As everyone does I struggle with that from time to time, especially if someone comes off as abrasive or crude; but I'll usually hear them out to see what they're like underneath. I joined this site primarily just to get away from Facebook, but I was also looking for a place where I could share my thoughts and ideas no matter the quarter in which they originated. I hope to do that many times in the coming months, so here's to thought provoking conversation. :)

It's disgusting to see what some of these people (men and women) will say or do just to either get a rise out of somebody or have a friend request accepted...are people really so lonely and attention starved they have to post the worst sides of themselves for the sake of some kind of human response? Where is this behaviour leading us? And why must honest people suffer for dishinest behavior? Anyhow, I'm rambling as I so often do...this was more of a chance … [more]
