MS is ruining my life, and everything I worked so hard for.
MS has changed my life in so many ways. The diagnosis took 22 Doctors and MS. MS symptoms symptoms can mimic other diseases. The MRI was inconclusive, so I underwent a Spinal tap, and this test did conclude that I indeed have MS. I was releaved to finally have a diagnosis. I think you can handle anything, as long as you know what you are dealing with. The next step was Interveiwing Neuroligists. This is critical to find a Neuroligist that you trust, and one that is knowledgeable. They needed to be understanding, caring,and above all else have a knowledge of MS medicines and their side effects. We had to choose if a daily or weekly medicine would work best for me. Because of the increased amount of drug abuse, I can't get my medicine
I take pain medicine to help with the pain, it's getting so bad, I cannot sleep, or do much of anything. I went to my Neuroligist on Wed. , she wrote me t o scripts for pain, and I cant find a pharmacy that has the medicine. I live in a big town. I have been on the same medicine for 15 years, I have never had a problem, I went to 40 pharmacies they all relate that they cannot get the medicine in. They also say it's going to get worse. They say to many people are forging scripts, and that the drug companies cannot make enough profit on generic drugs. To many lawsuits on drug companies because the doctors don't carry enough. I have MS, and it's Ruining my life my life.
I worked hard to get a good education, I Did it myself, paid the loans off myself. I worked three jobs, and lived in cold basement studios for over 8 years. I loved my career in the medical field, I loved being in leadership roles. I was always in control, I felt I could handle whatever was thrown my way. I was secure in my knowledge, my relationships, my parenting, I was Focused with my goals. Then my life started slowly unravelling before my eyes.
