    Another bad day at work.  basically, my boss told me i'm taking too long on my project.  although i kind of knew it.  i know i'm the new guy and there's a lot that i don't know that's been slowing me down but i have to admit that i've been...i guess unorganized and just plain unprepared.  i think i lose focus during the day...i get lost in all my thoughts about what i should/have to do that i don't know where to start or what to work on next.  i think i need to take a time management course or something.  anyway, my boss basically gave me an out and said wrap up my work so i can work on something else that's more important because they need help.  i NEED to get better.  even now that my boss… [more]

    So it begins.  I stumbled upon this site by accident and thought it was exactly what I needed.  It's a place for me to figure out who I really am, who/what I would like to become and what I want to accomplish in my life.  I just moved across the country (CA to Upstate NY) for my dream job.  I left my family, my friends, and all my future plans back home in CA.  It's an odd feeling starting over in a new place.  I think the only reason I can do this is because I'm a very independent person and I seek (to a certain degree) adventure and new experiences.  So it's been a few months and even though I miss home I don't feel any strong feelings to moving back home.  I guess that's a good thing.  So… [more]
