Male , 31-35

Just an ordinary guy. Have a wide range of friends but no permanent relationship yet. Some people think I appear confident and have everything going for me, but I'm sometimes more nervous than I appear.

I Love Trackie Bottoms

I had to wear a suit to work for ten years and it was great to be able to come home and put on my trackies. I instantly felt relaxed and free for the rest of the day. I've always preferred grey ones... [more]

Anyone Not Into It For Kicks? When I first came onto EP I was quite pleased that I had a semi-anonymous place where I could admit to something only a couple of close friends know about, that is I have 'accidents' sometimes and wea… [more]
  • A great evening out.

    Posted on: October 16th, 2009 at 6:36PM

I was both excited and a little nervous today as I had actually arranged to meet someone I've spoken to on EP. I have permission to say who it is, just as long as I don't give his real name and emphasise that this was a bloke's meeting in a pub and not a date (straight as they come is Rugbylover!). We'd discovered that we actually work not far from each other in central London, and arranged to meet up in a pub after work. Although we'd spoken on the phone after a couple of PMs, I was a bit nervous about actually meeting face to face when I realised just how much he knew about me. The great thing about EP as that we can reveal some things we might not reveal to our friends, family or work co… [more]

  • Changed my face pick

    Posted on: October 19th, 2009 at 5:26PM

A certain person on here suggested I alter my face pick to something a bit more 'sideways on', just in case there's someone out there who might try to punch me on the nose, point and jeer at me in the street, or (chance would be a fine thing) sexually assault me. I looked through my pics on my computer but came up with nothing that fitted the bill. Then I remembered a staff magazine from a couple of years ago that was still lying around which has a picture of me in it that might do. It's suitably unclear, and those marks were on the picture not on my face (honest!). It's a portion of one that was taken when we were on this bloody awful 'morale building' day out. Some wit had decided we were… [more]

  • Irritation, some embarrassment, but no angst.

    Posted on: October 10th, 2009 at 3:57PM

I'm not sure I'll be very good at blogging because I don't think the world is a nasty place and I have no great angst to let out. Still, here goes. I live in a town just outside London and have to commute to work every day. I ended up in that town because my aunt lived there and I spent most of my time at her place from the time I started college and then worked in London. My mum died when I was in my teens and my dad remarried three years later, so while I was welcome at their place I came to see my aunt's as my main home. She had no kids of her own and sort of adopted me. There was an unofficial and slightly embarrassing reason why I preferred to be at her place, as after my mum died I was… [more]
