  • I Cherish my few friends.

    Posted on: July 18th, 2010 at 8:53AM

When people refer to their "friends", I sincerely hope those people are as kind as mine. I honestly don't believe they could be. Growing up, I lived in a very small town; population about 50. It was next to impossible to make any riends, because there wasn't enough people for a turnaround, you get what I am saying. A Lot of people gauge their ability to make a blanket statement of, "I have so many wonderful friends." When in actuality, most of them probably wouldn't know a true friend if they jumped up and bit them in the butt! Well, in closing, I want to say a big thank you, and pass on big hugs and kisses to my very few friends. The ones that stand by you through it all, and still like… [more]

  • Haiti you are in my thoughts and prayers

    Posted on: January 15th, 2010 at 11:55AM

When horrible things happen, like the earthquake in Haiti, my heart aches for all who are affected. This will not be something that stops after the rocking, smashing and destruction ends. This will have a lasting impact for generations. I have been through some horrible natural disasters and made it through. What stays with you is the memory of that day that haunts forever. I pray for them all. God bless them and please God, let there be more survivors. … [more]

  • Help me with cholesterol and Pancreatitus

    Posted on: November 1st, 2010 at 1:44PM

Please help me, anyone if you can. I have been hospitalized five times in the last three months with Pancreatitus. Three weeks ago, I went through a surgery for Hyperparathyroidism. Mind you, I have none of the usual reasons for having these problems. People who have this are heavy drinkers, and I don't drink a drop. Also, the person has a history of gall stones, and I have never had these. There is also a history of high cholesterol, which I am getting down to normal limits. If anyone has any suggestions for lowering cholesterol better or faster, ( I know about diet), like a good medication, even herbal remedies, I would be so grateful. I thank you all for your help. I can't stand … [more]

  • "I will try my hardest to be thankful."

    Posted on: November 20th, 2009 at 7:28PM

Please bear with me. This is my very first blog. I posted a mood of feeling lonely, and I am. The town I currently live in is the arm pit of the nation. there is litterally no one around me. I have lived here for about eleven years, shouldn't I be getting used to it by now? Anyway, We are out of here next year. I think my depression and loneliness is because I am bedridden right now and there are only so many things that can keep one entertained. Any suggestions? The whole point of this is that I have never been in so much physical pain in my whole life. I won't go into the gorey details, but I have an on going health problem that seems to be getting worse as I get older. Funny thing is th… [more]
