  • Ocean view

    Posted on: December 7th, 2011 at 10:59AM

I went on a cruse a few days a go. Sat out on the balcony just to let my thoughts float on the water. I released my worries, while the breeze blow through my hair. The sound of the seagulls fell silent in the distance. The noon day sun glistened across the waters. I watched as the waves ran into each other then gently fell away.the silence wrapped me enfolded me like a warm blanket. Why do I have to leave this place. I sat until the sun lowered in the sky. Thinking back, I told my mate I was tried and it was over. He saw in my eyes every word that was said I meant. His efforts to small to late. eyes heavy from the sound of the waves as I let go I let sleep have its way.… [more]

  • learning piano.

    Posted on: September 28th, 2011 at 11:17AM

It has always been my desire to learn to play piano.  Being from a large, single parent family  most dreams had to be put on hold. Being the sixth of eight children at times sucked. especially when i wanted to learn to play piano. everyone older than me came first, I mean some were playing sports and graduating high school  and getting married. There were no reality shows around to paying to tape our boring life for others to see. so here I am years later, never lost my dream nor my desire. They say its hard for older adults to learn piano, its quite fine with me. I'm not looking to play  Carnegie Hall.  Just something which sounds like music, where the cats will not run out of the room.… [more]

Almost every year we go on a cruise this year was no different. This time we sailed out from the port of Miami, but something felt different about this trip.. It was such an unseasy feeling through out the entire ship. Everyone in our group felt felt the sadness and since of loss. The crew was wonderful but seemed depressed as if something was weighing on them, the people on the cruise didn't seem happy almost oppressed. There is the worst part I usually sleep like a baby on board the ship but for four days I could'nt sleep (being sensitive) sleep escaped me, but on the last night I was so exausted I feel asleep. my husband was on one side of the bed and I on the side near the wall with my s… [more]
