I was a good student but my daughter couldn't care less
They say you have to have a degree in psychology to be a parent. I think it's so true. Wish I knew how to deal with my daughter's lack of enthusiasm for academia for instance. I don't want her to regret it later on but she won't be encouraged, pushed or coerced. Escapism
I like to read and watch DVDs. Just can't match what I get out of a book or movie in real life. It's kind of crazy but I just can't seem to change my ways. I've started to do a little running with the dog, something I got into in a big way 10 years ago but abandoned when life got busier. Yes, I know that life is what you make it and I kind of feel like a loser for not making my life more interesting. After all, the experiences of characters in a book are not always just imagined.
