  • Crappy Labor Day Weekend!!!

    Posted on: September 7th, 2011 at 1:08PM

This was a very crappy Holiday weekend!!! My daughter went to the hospital early Saturday morning to have her arm looked at. She had about 5 cyst just below her armpit. The doctors drew a line around the swelling and told her to come back if the swelling went outside the line. Hours later that same day the swelling was outside the line and she was admitted to the hospital! Later on that night they operated on her. The operation took less than 45 minutes and when she came out she was in a pretty good mood. She was not really goofy from the drug, but in a much better moon from the pressure on her arm being gone.As of right now, she is fine!!!! We still do not know exactly was it was she had. T… [more]

  • Update on my daughter I

    Posted on: September 7th, 2011 at 6:23PM

Saw my daughter a few hours ago. She is very upset (pissed off, confused, lonely, depressed). Now, before I go on I feel I must state that my daughter is a bit of a Drama Queen and everything I am writing is coming from her, so it does need to be taken with a grain of salt. The lab finally confirmed that what she has is MRSA again. That is what I was waiting for. I did not want to call it one thing to find out that it is something else. Now, I know what she is dealing with! None of the 3 doctors still cannot agree on a discharge date, I think maybe the doctors should talk to each other and come up with a discharge date before they tell my daughter what they each think (Age old problem, docto… [more]

  • Update on my daughter II

    Posted on: September 11th, 2011 at 5:03AM

My daughter was discharges Friday afternoon. She was about to have a really bad bipolar breakdown. So, the doctor decided to let her go more for mental reason than anything else. Everyone else is upset (mother and boyfriend) that she was discharged. We all came to an agreement that if her arm got worse or any new outbreaks and she would return to the hospital. So, at this point it wait and see. She will be going to an Infection Disease doctor in about a week for further treatment. That is about it for now. Thanks to everybody who commented their support, I really needed it. If anything new happens, I will post it. Thanks again.… [more]

  • I have a genealogy question, which is driving me up a wall.

    Posted on: August 21st, 2011 at 5:55AM

When someone emigrates say like from Scotland to America, you mark that person’s nationality as being Scottish. So, my question is how many generations would have to pass before someone in that family would no longer be of Scottish nationality but be American nationality? In addition, would that apply if I used two different Countries as an example?… [more]
