During this time of my life I am what most people would define as lonely. I am single, have no friends and a rather dull job. However, I am different than most people because I don't understand the negative connotation of the word "lonely". To be lonely simply means to be alone, rather to be in close proximity to other human beings. Therefore loneliness can be neither good nor bad. I choose to be "lonely" because I know that whenever I like I can be around as many people and make almost as many friends as I'd like. So for me, loneliness resembles freedom.… [more]
