This Is Part 2 Of A Story About A Trip I Took To Hedonism. The First Part Is On Here Somewhere. Posted 09/19/2012
Our first night at Hedonism we had been exhausted from travel, and had gone to bed early, tonight after a full day on the nude beach and two pretty fulfilling tangles of the romantic type... [more]

Confession:  I spend a lot of my business day not being incredibly serious about anything.  I treat it like a game - have fun with it - and rarely if ever think later about what the repercussions are. I do work hard - and I like to think I'm good at my job – but I spend a lot of my day either pushing paper – which is pretty unreal to me - or just manipulating people to get what I want.  I do it with clients to get them to pay their bills. I do it with co-workers to get the information I need to get my job done. I do it with my boss so much that even he knows who really calls the shots in our relationship.   But rarely do I worry about what it’s all about or what happens at the end of the day… [more]

  • Husband is finally gone

    Posted on: April 18th, 2011 at 1:06AM

John has been home for almost two straight weeks.  That usually doesn't happen.  Usually, the only time we spend two weeks at a time together is when we're on vacation.I love John, but I was certainly ready for him to go.  I need to get back into some sort of a routine and that's hard when he's around - especially with going out every night and drinking too much.  It's time to settle back down.Last night, for instance, we started the evening with a charity benefit over at the Pickering Barn - a big old community center which this evening had been taken over by local restaurants and over 30 local wineries and beer brewer.  For the price of a ticket, it was an "all you can eat and drink affair… [more]

When I got mad at EP quite some time ago, I stopped blogging here and actually deleted most of my posting and stories.  It's been more than a year. Do any of my former followers even play on EP anymore? So much has happened since i was here last.  Husband sold his business - I quit my job - a summer exploring Alaska and another off the coasts of Greece and italy.  I really wish I had written more down, but when I write now I get paid.So many of you always said "Put those experiences together into a book' and someone at a publisher heard me.  I got a small advance and a ***** goddess editor and I've been writing all summer. Who knows what will happen once this lands on shelves, but I've put it… [more]

  • The joys of doing what i do.

    Posted on: May 4th, 2011 at 7:13AM

It is one of the more frustrating aspects of my job that I am not allowed to talk about it much.  I mean I can talk about co-workers and what I do generally, but our company has a very strict rule about talking about clients or projects too specifically - especially in any kind of print or on-line format, but also even with friends and family. It makes sense in a way - it would be bad if one of our clients saw their name and company secrets laid bare on a Facebook page or blog post - but sometimes I get exposure to new ideas or new products over the course of a day that just make me want to run out and evangelize how absolutely awesome they are - and I can't.I'm working on of those kinds of p… [more]
