    I read a confession that reminded me of my cocaine and crack years.     My Dad has Cancer
    It's weird in a way because I had cancer 21 years ago. Surgury, Chemo therapy, radiation. The whole works and it kicked my *** to the dirt. I lost my Mom 4 years ago but not from cancer. My Dad had successful prostrate radiation implants last year and all was looking good. Now we find he has lung tumors that have also moved to his brain. He has completed 10 brain radiations and it appears the tumors ar shrinking. He has recently had his second chemo therapy treatment for his lungs and is beginning to show the signs that I remember having. Tiredness, fatigue, loss of appetite, etc. Yesterday he had a blood tranfustion. He recieved 2 units. We left the house at 9:30am and returned home at midn… [more]
