    I support Christopher Stowell, and his proposal that the Boy Scout Beekeeping merit badge be reinstated.: "As a scout leader and a beekeeper, I fully support Christopher's endeavor. My son is a Cub Scout and a fine beekeeper himself, and he is helping spread the word by leading presentations on honey bees to other Cub Scouts. Our local club - the Mt. Diablo Beekeepers Association - is one of the largest on the west coast, and we all support Christopher as well.

    It's a great day for beekeeping!"

Beekeepers will help train others - i.e. boy scouts. Please reinstate this badge to allow our youth to become involved in this way with saving our environment."

The bees need our help, our lives and the lives of our families depend on it. Most people have NO idea how involved the bees are in growing the food we eat. When the bees are extinct, the we will not be far behind!"
