I pulled out some money from my bank account and went grocery shopping for the local homeless shelter. I got to talking to the lady who runs the place and she offered me a volunteer position, they need help, so I start tomorrow.

I helped an elderly lady in my church get in her van and loaded it up for her. She thanked me and tried to give me money but i declined

I am using my yarn stash to make winter hats for people who really need them. I do it every year, and I never get tired of it! Just wish there was not such a great need...
