I've been on my period for a month. I know! Right?? Here's the thing: it's pretty much cause I'm super stressed out right now. I have hit a pretty big rock bottom in my life and am wanting to change every factor in my life (money issues, job, house, boyfriend, city) all at once and the stress from actually trying to do all at once has messed up my body soooooo baaad that I can't stop my period! I'll go through insaaaane 24 hour cramps, buy tampons and stuff in bulk (been through TWO costco family sized tampon boxes!!), just sit in my car crying for an hour. My doctor tried to give me the Pill, but I said hell no I neeeeeeeddd to have my cigarettes cause imma freak out!! So he gives me these other pills instead to basically reset my ovulation cycle. AND SO FAR IT IS WORKING!! If by the tenth day it continues, I will need to consider getting a DNC (dilation and curettage) which is to scrape out your insides to remove any remaining tissue, they do this miscarrages sometimes. I hope it will all work out.

Well i currently stopped taking the birth control pill and ive been having my period for 9 days now... today is day 9.. My husband and i are trying to get me pregnant before he goes on his ship for the navy.. i probably wont have any luck getting pregnant. I started taking prenatal pills about 4 days ago... when will this **** end... ive been on every birth control including: depo shot (hated it), yasmen, yaz, and seasonique. Please help me if you know anything about having very irregular periods..

I've been on my period for a month, I called my OB and the nurse said to take a pregnancy test: It could be a miscarriage. I'm not pregnant, so it could be stress or my body going through hormonal changes or malnourishment. However, my doctor does want to see me just to check to make sure it is nothing serious. I will report on the results.

I've have also been on my period for almost a month now. I don't know what the hell is going on! Can someone please answer this qiestion for me: If I were to go to my doctor, what exactly would she do? Is she gonna be touching me in areas I don't want to be touched in? lol Or would she just put me on the pill and do some kind of blood test? I'm scared to go, I don't know what to expect! :(

I've been on my period off and on for about 8 months now. I had a miscarriage in april and since than i might get off for a day or two maybe three but AF always show bac up! I've gone to the doc(3 to be exact), had blood work, ultra sounds (vaginal and pelvic) hormones check, thyroids, the whole works and still can't find out wats wrong. Yesterday I reluctantly started the pill since that seemed like the only solution. Hope this works

I've been on my period since 8-19-2012. I don't have regular periods. When I was younger i maybe had one every 2 to 3 months which resulted in a lot of embarrassment from not being able to properly track it to prevent accidents. I took birth control which helped regulate it to every month until i could no longer afford the pills roughly stopped Jan of 2008. Since 2008 it got even more spaced out. Roughly 4 to 5 months. Then 6 to 8 months. I blamed stress. Weight gain. Loss of work. Poor diet etc. Then i got hurt at work and injured the part of my spine that regulates blood flow and nerves that go to the pubic region in 2010 and did not have my period for a full year. Im not paralized though. I was too scared to see a gynocologist. My husband insisted but we had no insurance still. We still try to get pregnant though so when i started this year i was happy to be ovulating but sad i missed the timing. After three days the sheer amount of bleeding scared the **** out of me. I went through a full box of overnight pads in three days. My husbands convinced me to go to the hospital as i thought it might be a miscarriage. They said no baby in there. Which did not explain all the blood. However she stated i might have cysts on my ovaries. Or bad ovaries and go to a gynocologist. Waiting for blood to stop but im getting week and dizzy im losing so much. I got to wait for aproval for free visit cause i lost my job. Please dont wait years like i did until its this bad. Go to the doctor. Fear is not worth your life or possible damage to your body. It took a long time for me to accept i might not be able to have babies. If you cant it feels like the end of the world. But dont give up. Theres so many babies who need mothers out there. Give them a chance too dont rule anything out.
