If only I could take your hand in mine..

If only I could brush the hair from your face..

If only I could gaze into your eyes not knowing whether or not you were seeing what I was seeing..

If only I could tell you about the daydreams that stream through my head...

If only I could let you know that you could fall apart and I would just try to put you back together..

If only I could touch your lips to mine..

If only I could use the silence to tell more than my tongue ever could..

If only I could see a goofy grin sweep across your face..
