Life is what you make out of it. You've never been to disc? You mean nightclubs? Well that's not the only joy. You can move if it bothers you so much. But i doubt it will get any better unless you stop sounding so desperate.

Look, I'm not discriminating you at all. As for what made me feel you're desperate is that "i wan know ur life...my name is sameeer.. in m 24 male". This sounds a bit desperate don't you think. If someone comes to you saying I want your life, my name is "something" and I'm 24, what would you think?

I understand it might not be easy out there. And you want to have a better life for you. It's not that I don't understand what you mean. I do. I just think you need to be more tough, more respectful to yourself and your country and don't idolize people from other countries. As they suffer there too...

Wow!...can't even comment/confess anonymously!...maybe he just doesn't know how to properly express himself(don't forget, you have to take into consideration peoples way of expression in another language may not come off the way we would say it)...please let people be and don't judge...

I am NOT judging. I never judge, at least I try my best not to. I was just telling him that place does not matter, people suffer everywhere. You go to nightclubs, you can drink vodka? So what? It does not mean a thing. It is not what makes us happy. That's what I was pointing out. Now think again (",)

Hi Sameer! i think i no a little of how you feel. i have never felt it before, but have spent some time in the type of country u come from. the people were so desperate to leave for america/europe (i always wondered why not australia as well... probably media)... and i can understand why. people who dont have 'connections' or money growing up in a third world country have little chance of bettering themselves unless they work their whole lives or some random act of kindness falls upon them....
so Sameer, i hope you find a great life, and i hope you will be happy soon.

No, it isn't surprising at all. You live in a very socially conservative country. As much as I complain about the USA sometimes, I LOVE it here....and wouldn't live anywhere else!

If you haven't already, you should visit "the states", and see if you might want to immigrate here someday. One common thing that I've heard from many immigrants, is how "hard" Americans work. But at the same time, most of the Middle Eastern citizens of our country work around the clock...so this will be nothing new to you. If you work hard and smart (most important) in this country, you can do just about anything you want.

Now with all good, there is some bad. In every statistic I've read, the USA falls in the top 10 for homicide rates. And surprisingly, the United States has one of the highest, if not THE highest rates of clinical depression. But unlike some other countries, we don't imprison the mentally ill....that is unless they are a threat to themselves, or others. There are frequent tornadoes during some seasons of the year. Healthcare is very expensive here, as I'm certain you've recently read. For the most part, we are good at treating the disease once it starts, but we haven't done as well at prevention of diseases...but we're working on that. Every country's government has corruption, and the United States is no exception. We are divided politically, but you will encounter noone more fierce when we are threatened. Most of us love this country and will do anything to protect our fellow man and property. Americans are like sheep, until frightened or angry; and you will then see the wolf emerge. And when one decides to move to this great country, they will be expected to share the national pride and responsibility.

Except for my American Indian heritage, I am an immigrant. All of us have immigrant history: European, African, Asian, etc... But we are American citizens, and are expected to be faithful to the country which we are BLESSED to live in.

What else can I possibly say? It's a great place!

And inevitably we return to the good in America: the musicians and music...terrific food, diverse land, climate, and culture, smooth driving surfaces, to drink or not drink alcohol (your choice), Americans are romantic (in an intimate sense), passionate about their beliefs, religious freedom, education opportunities,
