I had an impending sense of doom all day and then when I got home from work, my husband totally apologized for things that he thought I was oblivious to and someone sent me a year subscription to Readers Digest and when I logged onto EP I found some really nice comments to my confession and life felt like maybe life was headed back on track and my doom is vanishing.

Hello, love:
Impending doom does not portend doom, rather you perception of where you stand right now and the worst of directions to where real an imagined things may lead.
You sound like you spend to greater part of the day cooped up in your home, in the semi-dark alone. Instead of staying there, schecule a time to go for a walk, window shopping, having a cup of tea or coffee somewhere new each day. Have a chat with another woman of whatever age. Being a man, I always tried to select men of senior age and listen to what he had to say, his stories however long, his experiences, his hard times and good times and so on. From them, I have gleened a great deal of wisdom and insight on my own sitautions, quickly realizing that, in fact, I am not so unique in life's difficulties and trials.I learned that regardless of what I have experienced, someone else has experienced nearly the exact same thing, and how difficulties were resolved.
Your husband sounds like a good man; ask him to walk with you on one of his days off and show him your discoveries, introduce him to the ladies you have met and perhaps their husbands. You will not only create a greater bond with your hubby, but you inhance the lives of those with whom you chat.
It's a win-win thing to do.
The world is a bright and beautiful place to live; bask in it's warmth and the love and caring of the people sharing it with you.
