Back in 1991 I went to Florida for the first time. At Disney my friend and I queued for the 2000 Leagues Under the Sea ride.
I have to say here that I was fascinated by all the characters/props etc. I am also a very touchy, feely type of person.
Upon boarding the submarine, my friend and I last, I noticed what I thought was another prop in the form of a man standing on steps in front of me. All you could see was his legs from the thighs down. Me being the curious me thought being that close to one of the props was a perfect opportunity to see what they felt like, ie what were they made out of. So naughty me decided to touch the legs, my hands rubbing up and down them.
Well to my suprise the thing started to move. Utterly shocked I realised this was a real person and not one of the props!! We had to take our seats and typical enough I was sitting right underneath this man. I thought all would be ok, but oh no, was I wrong!
"This is your Captain speaking ........ there will be no drinking, no eating, no flash photography and NO touching the Captain's legs". How embarassing and yet hilarious was that!! My friend had no idea why I was laughing until she heard the announcement.
Still to this day I cannot remember that ride!!

On a school trip Blackpool once this lass sat next to me on the Ghost train ride felt someone touch her hair and swung a punch, hitting the fairground worker stood there dressed in black right in the lunchbox....we could hear him groaning and being sick for the rest of the ride. I bet he wished he had been your Captain instead!

*ROFLMAO* Alright I'm at work taking a mini break and client called while I was reading your story...I kept skimming it and started giggling out loud to the client it was so funny. Yeah, so I had to turn my monitor off and pay attention haha
