This is how she shows her insecure side: she makes a statement that implies something that she doesn't agree with, such that it's annoying. Like, "Why do you do this?" "ew that's gross" (at meat on the counter) At times, I just feel like saying "Why the heck do you care? Why don't you just stick to your crap? Sometimes, I can just let it go, but I really can't stand her version of saying I'm insecure.
