My husband passed away on April 1.  Yesterday I saw his watch in my jewelry box and it made me cry.  Today I was doing laundry and I ran out of hangers on my side of the closet and took some of the hangers from his side of the closet.  It made me cry to remember his clothes once hanging there.  I wish I could quit crying.

    i am so sorry you're hurt. I lost my dad when i was 9. im 25 now and i a couple of months ago i found my dad's wallet and it had his old cards in it and it made me cry so hard. i really know how you feel. i know that feeling to have a hole inside of you; but it will be ok, and it will get easier with time. (((hugs)))

    You are very blessed to feel this way. You feel this way because your husband was a good husband. I feel bad that you grieve, but you are very fortunate to feel this way.

    I'm so sorry, nothing is sadder than losing a partner or a child. So many here are heartbroken but I remind myself that losing a good person is the absolute worst. Why do the loving have to suffer the loss while others go on and on, seemingly unaffected. One of the many ways life feels so unfair and cruel at times. I pray for strength and peace for you and, ultimately, the promise of loving again.

    Oh Cherry, I am so sorry.



    I haven't had to go through this loss, but my granddaughter's husband was killed by a drunk driver, the day after they were told they were having a baby. Five years later, she will see something that was his, and suddenly she is crying again. Their little girl, who is now four and a half, always asks her if she is crying for her daddy again. She assures her that "Everything is okay, Mommy, because you still have me."



    I wish I could tell you the pain stops, but I think you just learn to live with it. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

    I am so sorry about your granddaughter's loss. I'm sure she sees her husband every time she looks at her daughter. Even though she is still heartbroken because of her loss, how wonderful it is that she has such a wonderful daughter. I'm sorry for your loss too...I know this hurts you tremedously.
