I have been In a relationship with a guy 11 years older than me for about a month. She doesn't approve of it. She thinks that he wants something else from me. I know his true intentions. My mother is the type of mom that often exaggerates things a notch. I know she cares and wants to protect me but I really don't want to end this relationship just because of her. She is judging him without even meeting him first. He is a really great person and treats me well.

I do not care if he is not a virgin. Does that really matter?. I don't think so.

Your boyfriend is a child molester if the topic of sex comes up in your conversations. If he's not interested in you as a sexual object and provides a leadership role that raises the bar of your expectations in life...then he is a good influence.

His and your sexuality should not be discussed in these conversations. Feel free to give me his name and address if you are discussing sex.

Good then, you have found a person with higher expectations of you. I feel weird when I talk with young women because everyone, as society dictates, thinks it's perverted. I'm a coach of a little league team. There is a young girl on our team. I worked with her a little extra because she had a lot of ground to cover, now she's one of the best players on the team. I want nothing but her success against the machine (boys little league) and would support her efforts in any way. But as a leadership role for her, if she talked about sex in anyway...I would turn her off and walk away. I know it's natural for young girls to grow feelings towards role model men, but it's a true role model that will teach...

He told me he felt weird when he first knew my actual age.

The thing is we meet on fb.

He lives 40 minutes away from me.

When we both fell in love he thought I was 20 years old.

I actually look older than 15, I am told. xP

you are right its ok to talk to people of different ages but when it comes to sex be careful so you dont get hurt. He is also in danger of being labled a child molestor and you dont want that because thats when the the police get involved so be very careful. Sometimes we have to heed the advice from others even though we dont agree.

one last thing I'll add to this confession. Age and Wisdom are inherently attached to each other in some strange and twisted way. Don't discount the warnings that society places on us all, they are derived from the failings of previous societies (romans, greeks, and even as recent as the french). Be glad that we stopped burning witches...because your thoughts would get you a trip to the bic lighter show. Innocence and youth should be cherished. I was lucky that I realized that early on and spent many days of my youth trying to catch that trout in the stream, the bugs under those rocks, and running around in the field with my dog. Who happened to be my best childhood friend.

If he is willing to wait for you when you're ready and at an appropriate age, then I don't see the problem with it
