Don't Push Me Away...

Many times have I looked back and realized just how scarred and trodden we both really are.  Our pasts are stained and scattered with memories that neither of us like to delve back into, some we've even forced ourselves to forget.  But though you've been broken, it only makes you stronger.  I want to be able to piece you back together and let you heal with tender time.  I know things have been hard in this short period of time between the two of us, and I understand that we may just be realizing we're not made for one another.  But you're still perfect to me.  Don't argue with me about that, either. I don't often lie about my opinions on people, so when I say you're perfect, take it, don't nudge it aside and say "no way, not me!". Perfection is a concept that Society has raped to death in a constant push-and-shove scenario over what man or woman's body appeals to most of the world.  So please.. when I say you're perfect, take that little piece with you and keep it safe from Society for me.  The world and I both deserve that. ♥
