It's almost over

Art critics who are not themselves artists and most definitely did not contribute to the creation of a work are imposing their ideas on famous pieces and arguing it as fact. It's only a shame the artists are no longer around to denounce or acknowledge these claims. But maybe that is why artists are only truely appreciated after they're dead, so these talentless vultures can latch themselves to history by picking apart the accomplishments of others.
This is of course, not a field I wish to devote my life to. I intend to contribute something to society.

What gets me is how unhappy you sound, yet you have a grasping knowledge of what you're learning. If you really wanted my advice, it's your money. If I were you, I'd put forth my money into something I know I'd seriously want to do and be happy with in my life. Then again, you are pretty close to your goal. If you'd want to finish this course to finish up and go back or go onward onto further studies, that's your choice. Find something you can really relate to, and just remember to try and be happy with your decision. In order to be happy, you must think your choices through.
I hope that helped a little bit, more than just recounting what you may have already gone over in your own head. Best of luck to you, my friend. -
Thx for the comment, I am unhappy with college, but my parents had always wanted me to go. They have sacrificed so much for me already, I know this is something I must and will do for them. Afterwards though, it'll finally be time to fly.
