I like the smell of my dog's food

No, I am not some Alpo huffer. I feed my dog dry food every day, with a small can of wet food every other day, as a treat. He eats the top of the line stuff. He likes all different flavors: beef, salmon, rabbit, duck,  pork, venison, buffalo. I am not exposed to a lot of meat: I only eat poultry and fish, no mammals. When I feed my dog, I notice that all the meats are totally different, in look, density, smell... I am vaguely repulsed by them (especially the rabbit, yuck). But there is one flavor that I am not repulsed by. In fact, I feel vaguely curious. As horrible as this is, the smell is even kind of pleasant. Spicy, in a way. What is this mystery meat? Lamb. I have never tried lamb, though I am certain I would like it. I don't expose myself to lamb because I know I may be tempted by it. But even in dog food form, it's still tempting. I have never smelled it close up or anything, it may be lamb, but it's still dog food.
