If you could build someone up using a white lie would you do it?  Is it still wrong?

THE WHITE LIE:  Tell them that you can relate to them even though you cannot, then proceed to give them advice and build them up from there.

THE TRUTH:  Tell them that they can achieve anything, and everything, that they can take on the world just a well as anybody else.  Here's the kicker, they do it, and they succeed.  They become what they've always wanted to be and more.

Within that white lie they've discovered a truth, but the only reason they were willing to listen in the first place was because they felt you understood them.

THE CONCLUSION:  I cannot say that I have ever used this white lie, but I thought it might be interesting to ponder.

Overall, I think what I'm trying to say isn't a question of white lies after all; it's more like a message I want to get across to everyone.  I often find myself writing about hope, change, and the law of attraction, whether it be in stories or comments. We all hold the power to change our own lives despite the unfortunate circumstances that may have negatively influenced them. Now relating it back to the white lie... why should you listen to me? I don't know you and can never truly understand what you went through, but that will not stop me from trying to build you up. Law of Attraction is just a truth that I've found in my own life, and I am presenting it to you as an idea. Its up to you whether you choose to pursue it. It is not a religion, but a lifestyle choice.  It is a positive option and at least you now you were given the opportunity to hear about it.
