Most of us use generic medicines at some point or every day. Some of us are forced to order meds from overseas to save money. If you buy generic medicines from an overseas pharmacy, please read this whole message.

Stay clear of SPIER pharmaceutical products (manufactured in India and perhaps elsewhere). I am specifically referring to a medicine called modafinil (but any Spier product could be dangerous). The Spier brand could have mold/parasite spores in the blister packs that are too small to even notice. This has to do with sanitation at the manufacturing level.

I used the Spier Modafinil and I became ill with a horrible skin condition. I mean bad (like antibiotics, lab tests, phone calls, losing sleep, severe pain, plastic surgery, and more).

The medicine itself may work fine, but the traces of spores can cause a body illness. Don't take a chance. A few tiny specs can turn your whole life upside down. This is especially true when your lived away from a substance all your life, and then you finally get exposed. Bam! By the time you put it all together, the foreign invader has taken hold and you are watching you life get worse on a daily or weekly basis.

The manufacturer will deny a problem; suppliers such as ED & More will keep selling potentially dangerous pills to anyone anywhere.

If you buy generics from online sources supplied from India, go with Sun Pharmaceutical.  I have used Sun Pharmaceutical Products for years and they were always good (plus better packaging, products, and price).  I don't work for this company; I am only posting a warning with no hidden agenda.

At first I wrote this as anonymous not because I am afraid or lurking around.  But I felt that drawing attention to myself was unnecessary. That the damage to me was done already, so why harp on it on a personal way (I got so messed up I could not post a photo on here from the damage to my skin!!!; So I have every right to make it personal).

But what I need now is to inform.  People need to know what the supplier did is criminal.  I don't want this to happen to anyone out there.  I don't want to see something wrong continue without some kind of web presence exposing this.  So I just need to get some kind of message out and I am glad to have a chance to share this information.

This company has a number of medicines offered.  I bought several and to be fair, most were just fine.  But ED & More website is not the one to buy from.  They won't refund bad meds.  They deny problems.  They tout how great they are.  They say you will get bonus pills if paying by check, and then you don’t. It is not like eBay or some site with purchase protections and user feedback.  So I took my chances.

But just know that they blew me off and think no one will expose them.  They are on this web site and have links to others; they are all over the web trying to get your business.  Just because a pharmacy site shows a guy in a lab coat does not mean a thing.  Most of us know that.  It comes down to quality, service, and support.  Now, even a full refund from them would mean nothing at this point for the 6-7 months of misery they caused me.  These ED & More people are sleaze bags. Plus, not all their prices are the most competitive.  There are good pharmacies out there, but this one is not.

* The ED and MORE people can flag me on here and I will just expose them more somewhere else.  I am not going away. Plus, they don't belong on here selling their garbage products.

ED and MORE is:

Seyalis Corp
Suite # 854
14781 Memorial Drive
Houston, TX 77079

Yes, well I need to buy Rx meds. I would love not to have to.

If this can happen to a neat freak, germ freak like me, than anyone is fair game. Be smart and safe with Rx and OTC meds. This is about bad packaging first and foremost. So thoroughly inspect what you buy before using it.

Thanks for the positive reactions. I am disgusted with my situation and not up for social networking. But I keep this profile to read stories and for posting this one. This story is about all I care to put forth at this time.

Hi, I joined this site just to hear more about your experience with Spier modafinil and ED and More pharmacy. I have purchased that same product from ED and More for several years and never had a problem. But I certainly believe your story. How do you know your skin disease can from the modafinil? Also, what was your first sign or symptom? I hope you are doing much better now! I plan to check out Sun Pharmaceutical next time I need to order.

First, sorry for the late response, I have not been on the site for a while. I barely use the computer. I am in really bad shape still.

I am glad I got to someone on here. My aim is to inform. Ultimately, you have to decide.

Well, you can take a chance on SPIER. They may have had a bad batch of meds. The illness I got coincides with using this medicine. Yes, I could be wrong. But the occurence of the disease is prevalent in several places worldwide and definitely India.

All I can say is you are completely crazy to take the chance. I really wanted to kill myself many times and especially recently over this. But I don't for specific reasons (it would affect others I have a commitment to; plus I would leave my dear cat). So I hang on as I work myself out of this. I am not going into big detail to say anymore on this site about it. I don't want sympathy. Just know that the suffering is way over the top. I would really prefer to just bail.

Another thing, ED and More didn't give a hoot about making good on my whole purchase. I went out of my way to explain the situation to them (product numbers, photos, etc.) They really boast about quality and making customers happy on the web site. But when it came down to it, they didn't care. So you have to decide on who you want to deal with. You always take some chance on online purchases from sites that are not fully transparent.

Another point: Sun Modafinil is more potent. I used both long enough to know. I was finding myself using an extra 50-100 mg of SPIER just to get the same effect. So you are not really saving money. I mean yes, a tolerance will build up with this medicine know matter what brand you use. You have to cut back or wash out every so often. ED and More also got a lot more expensive. There modafinil is not the bargain it once was.

You can always email me on this issue if you want more information. I have been off the med for a long while but plan to start again. I had too many other meds to use.

I want to thank you for your feedback.I was going to order from ed&more. I have severe allergies. Had I purchased this product, I could have gotten deathly ill. I appreciate all of you sharing your experience. I need to purchase Modafinil and not sure what a good site is. I will check sun pharmaceutical. Anyone have a good site, I would be appreciated. Thanks again for the heads up. Your posting could possibly save someones life. :O)

Suite # 854, 14781 Memorial Drive, Houston, TX is nothing more than a postal box rented from Memorial Postal Center located in a little *****-mall in Houston. Payments sent there are then sent to Victoria, Seychelles (which is a small island country east of Kenya) for processing. The server hosting the Ed and More website is located in Manitoba, Canada. The shipment of the drugs is sent to a post office in New York.

For such a serious complaint you forgot to mention the name of your skin condition. Your probably mad at this vendor for an unmentioned reason.
