He's been recenly diagnosed with Hep C. I've been going with him to his doctor's appt's Right now he's at a stage one 4 months ago. It now has gone into over drive. He has recently had a stroke, his kidney's are failing, High blood pressure has been through the roof, and Protein level is extremely low he pees a blood.
If he goes through the Hep treatment there is only 40% chance of beating the disease.
We have children together ,they are 10yrs and 12 yrs old.
It somes ways people think he woke- up to late. Do you?
I let my kids spend time with at much as possible in the hospital, I would never use kids as pawn to get what I want. In my opinon its extremely evil to resort to that kind of behavior. Unless their safety is at risk then its a different story.
Some people think I'm ungodly forgiving. I choose not be a self *****! If people change for the better they do deserves a second chance.

I'm so sorry! I hope he gets better. Don't let it get you down. Be hopeful! :] Good for you for not pawning the kids. You seem like an excellent mom & hopefully your children learn from you.

It sounds to me like your doing the best you can.

its people like you that make this world worth living in, im sorry to hear about ur ex. I hope he gets better.

You are right to stand by the father of your children. They will appreciate this so much as they grow older. With your care and the care of your children, he may well be part of the 40% who recover.

I believe that you are doing the right thing for you, and the children. At this point it is time to forgive and forget.....but yes, for his own good, did wait too long.

Milk Thistle will help his liver heal..

no, i do not. late perhaps, yes. too late to save his own life perhaps. but not too late to be in the life of his children, and you. not too late to leave something good behind. not too late to make a difference in the lives of those around him. not too late to give others hope. not too late to be a good father and a good man. so no, not too late. never too late for that.
