I love my girlfriend, and we're moving in together. But I just found out my ex is getting engaged...if any of you remember my posts from when i first started using this site....you'll know how badly i took the break up and how attached I was to her. I'm over her, she's a different person...but I cant shake this weird feeling. plus she said "one day you'll know how i feel" after talking about looking up wedding rings...ouch...i may never get to marry my girl n.ow, because it's not even legal

    Marriage is a commitment, a state of mind, a bond forged my mutual adoration, respect and love...not a piece of paper issued by fat old white guys. If you can't commit because of your feelings for your ex, be honest with yourself and your girl. Don't blame it on legality. Good luck, honey. The world is a terribly lonely place without love. Xo

    marriage isn't in my near future because of numerous other reasons, not because how I feel for my ex. I'm over my ex, it just struck a nerve hearing that she was married the fact that she said "one day you'll know how I feel" just got to me
