I am growing increasingly tired of how obsessed with money the United States and the world has become. I am tired of so many of my daily interactions involving or relating to money in one way or another. I am truly tired of sussing out whatever angle someone is trying to work on me. I long for a time when humans will live, learn, and prosper for the sake of enjoyment and development rather than for the sake of a few pieces of dried plant material slathered with ink or a few digital numbers displayed on a screen. How long can this insanity last? How long can we continue to place our faith in something that really has no value except for the value that we give it? How long will we continue to wreck our environment for the sake of a few dollars? It pains me to no end when I think of how many people are being run over by this machine. It fills me with anger to think of how many will starve for want of a few pieces paper. It fills me with rage to watch as we destroy the earth for a few bits of metal. I know I will not live to see the end of money, but hopefully at some point in our future we will evolve past this truly bizarre phase. My only real choice is to continue seeking a way out of this mess.

    Money is here for now.

Unfortunately money means freedom and power. For the time being money is what allows humans to live, learn, and prosper for the sake of enjoyment and development.

Fewer and fewer are being allowed to do those things as they lack money.

True. It seems as if there are more and more billionaires as more people struggle.

"I long for a time when humans will live, learn and prosper for the sake of enjoyment and development......" Amen to that!

See, we really do think alike! I am not some corporate executive (or a stalker for that matter) I am a small business owner who actually makes less then every single one of her employees (even the lazy ones unfortunately). I just know the value in a hard days work, and it's way more about ones integrity, then the almighty dollar. You agree with me, you just don't know it yet!

I am raising the white flag.....
