I constantly feel the need to be wanted and loved by a companion. By reading my stories, you'll know why I've never had 1. But thats not what this confession is about. I constantly create scenes in my head that Im being loved. Every night before I sleep, I say "I love you." It makes things slightly easier

I think it's natural for everyone to feel the need to be wanted and loved by a companion. I think it is programmed into us somehow. I understand the mental comfort thing. I too dwell on having someone to share the rest of my life with. You are so young. Don't try rushing it, and thinking you are somehow not complete unless you have someone. I did that with someone, and now it has ended in disaster. I think they key to all this is to just not dwell on it too much and feel like you are not living a good life just because you aren't in a relationship. It's hard...believe me I know. Being lonely sucks big time. But it has given me a chance to get to know myself. Don't give up hope...I read some of your stories, and you seem like a very intelligent, sensitive young man, who will one day sweep someone right off her feet...and she'll love you just the way you are. You'll see.

Thanks. I get what your saying. I tried ignoring it but it just got worse. I keep hoping and praying but I just keep feeling worse and worse. I have so much affection bubbling up and its killing me not being able to pour it out on to anyone.

I understand the anguish you feel. Don't try to ignore those feelings, they are your emotions...and it's our way of dealing with life. Try to stay positive..I know it's a daily struggle, but it'll be worth it. Take care:)
