I have been severely dispassionate about my work lately. I never would have thought it was tied to my spirituality, but after having gone to church today and heard my Pastor's message, I suddenly feel renewed, regenerated, and while yesterday I couldn't bear to get out of bed, suddenly I am spirited and happy to read, solve problems, and study.

This hints to me something about the nature of the spirit and the part it plays in people's lives, but I'm not sure exactly what it is.

yes, you should! It changes your life, somehow. I don't really understand it, but somehow every time I go, I feel better, and I gain a newfound passion for the future and my life.

That's good! I still hate my work. Maybe I should have gone but I really don't like church.

It is uncomfortable, at times. The hardest part is staying awake, and then the socializing. But once you've listened to the message, your outlook on life is less grim. At least that's my experience.

When you leave church, you sort of leave it as a different person temporary becuase need constant doses of God's word to help you get through life. It's not just a one-time thing. So, I can surely understand where you're coming from. Being a child of God is a lifetime-job :D

yes, exactly. And we need sunday to remind us of that, because we are so prone to forget and just live our lives. And if we do that for a couple months, we suddenly find ourselves dispassionate because our souls become suppressed or dull.
