I've never quite understood anger. It's one of those things that I constantly think "Why are you taking it so seriously? Just chill." My attitude towards it is has changed from down right afraid to somewhat overly annoyed. I mean, I feel like when someone is angry, their mood changes everyone around them, including myself. But why get angry? "I need to blow off some steam" that really your excuse? Punching a wall is going to make you feel better, even if it means breaking your knuckles in the process?  My dad was easily angered, it was borderline insane how quickly he got mad. The simple lost keys would drive him up the wall. But I see people everyday of my life angry. Yelling at their kids, cursing at a loved one, self harming all because they can't control themselves. It makes me sad, and frustrated. Today, at work, I experienced an angry man. I don't know his life, or his problems, but he was in one heck of a foul mood. I skipped his order, it was clearly my fault, mistakes happen, but he didn't take it quite well. I went back and made it, but it turns out I didn't make it the way he wanted me too. My bad, I can just do it again, give it to him for free, apologize for the inconvenience. Nah, he decided instead to just hit me. Right there in the store, and then proceeded to yell at me for being an incompetent employee. He was asked to leave, so he left...he didn't even say sorry lol. But what I don't understand, is what could bring a person to such a point where they would hurt an innocent stranger? I felt kind of bad, but at the same time....yeah, not so much. Gah, I just don't understand! :/

Wow, when I get angry it's usually mild anger. But if I get really angry, it becomes like a strange struggle from within.

I hear ya. It's okay to get angry, because people have emotions. It's losing control to the point that you'll hurt a loved one or even a stranger emotionally or physically that I have a problem with.
