I went and bought a homeless man a sausageroll anyway! It's been raining non stop for four hours and all he had for shelter was a doorway and bits of newspaper!
Besides, it's not like he can use a sausage roll to buy crack anyway (if that's the argument most people use). He went all teary eyed and said "God bless you, my darling", with a huge smile and because of that, I think it was totally worth it!

yeah well, sometime you might want to think about what that means. I was homeless once, never a drinker or drug user, but I know for a fact that most are not out there because they just want to sit and drink the days away. It's not usually a lifestyle choice. Just saying. -
i understand that. if theyre hungry it shouldnt matter if i buy them the food instead of giving them money. what made me do things like that is i gave money to a supposed mom who wanted to feed her kids but instead of doing that she went and got beer with the money id given her4 more replies

I was homeless once. It's people like you who make all the difference. I'll never forget a woman who brought me a blanket on a freezing winter night.

It does make you feel you, doesnt it? When I see a homeless person asking for change I would go to the closest fast food place and get them something to eat, I had one guy ask me for some change and I ask him what it was for he said "he wanted to get a beer" so I gave it to him for atleast being honest!! :) random acts of kindness just really make you and the person you helped just have a better day, more people should try this...l

Oops - meant to click like, not dislike! Sorry! Bloody EP mobile! But I think that's totally cool you gave him the change anyway for honesty's sake. Fair play, not a lot of peoplr would have been as honest about their motives. :) Anyone know how to delete the dislike and replace it with a like? Bloody phone....

ii dont know why i hsdnt read sooner it touched me. its good to see a non judgemental poerson help a man who needed it follows their own sense of wrong .and right and doesnt prejubledge. todays friend abandons in the foirst dign of trouble. thsts not me. somene loves me someone saw my potential know i was better and elevated me. and i wouldent ever turn my basck on him. you dont love him.
