Today, I was at the store. You know, minding my own business and what not. I was standing over a crate getting food out to buy and when I looked up I noticed a guy looking at me. I have been working at a place where presenting friendly costumer service is basically all I, its become habit for me to make eye contact, smile politely, and say "Hi, How are you today?" that's exactly what I said to the man that was looking at me all weird like, and it effectively put a frown on his face. I didn't even mean to say anything to him! Honestly, I was kind of freaked out by him. He just walked off, didn't say a word. I was so embarrassed lol my brother who was with me looked at me like I was crazy for even saying anything at all to the stranger. Eh, just habit, I couldn't help it. But I was kind of surprised by how rude the guy was about it. Gah, I was just embarrassed. Got to hold my tongue next time lol

If I had a penny for every time that happened to me. Well don't take it personally some people just don't know how to react to a new unexpected social interaction like me. I've been on the other end too and I don't mean to be rude but I'm just awkward so sorry about hearing that. I'm working on it though. That one experience shouldn't deter you from showering your kindness upon others :)

You shouldn't have been that nice but next time someone is staring at you say something like " can I help you?" That way they know you know they are staring.
