What is my purpose.

- People have work in terrible condition, all day, just to feed the mouths at home.
- I have read about a young man who was forced to become a prostitute, just to feed his family.
- The inhuman cruelties that we do to ourselves. What can I do. I feel so helpless!
- The countless places where the holocaust is happening. Where little children are killed. oh!
But I believe one thing, no God will ever come to help us, God never helped us. It was us - people, mortal, uneducated, poor, stupid people- who at last comes to rescue. But what I do to help.
What is my purpose?

Your purpose is what you make it. You said yourself that no god will intervene, so take action yourself. You are at an advantage by not having the burdens you speak of, so if this bothers you then try and serve as a helper. You are not helpless or insignificant. Become an activist, help your community, volunteer. Everyone can make an impact on the world. Even if you can't stop a holocaust, you can save people around you. Just do what you want and what you feel is right. The world is your oyster.

Is it naïve of me to think that the world is full of what we wish to see in it? I am surrounded by lovely things and beautiful people. I feel a huge love from my family and can see that same love echoed down the ages and through the nations. To speak of history as a conglommerate of self interest and rivalry and hatred is to ignore the quiet dances bt moonlight of lovers hidden from view. It is to ignore the tremendous kindnesses done to millions of individuals by millions of individuals. These stories don't fill the history books nor do they make the evening news but they are far more important than the more isolated evil we see when we look for it. God or no god please try to surroind yourself with love and lovely people, turn off the news and don't read the papers but read a simple love poem instead. You will not find your place until you first find beauty and love . Then you will become empowered to tear down barriers and build bridges. I think anyway- but maybe I'm deluded by a delicious perspective!

God said,
"I can't promise you that all your problems will disappear overnight, you have a hard road ahead of you but i can tell you that you'll have a peace and a purpose that will not only survive but it will thrive and grow if you trust me, will you follow me?"
