Pardon me if I may be forward, but I must speak my mind. Today your outstanding beauty is more radiant than yesterday. I've been watching you from the distance for a lifetime. I thought deeply about how to make your life a part of mine. I could greet you with fancy pick-up lines and hope that your interest towards me inclines. I could try and impress you and gain your attention by feeding you lies. I could offer to buy you any kind of drink and deceive you into believing that I am above average. But I realized that there is something I'm overseeing. I'm a human being and you are also a human being. I can just simply be truthful unlike Pinocchio, I can just say to you, “Hi, my name is Rob”.

But, to me this is what makes you amazing and what makes me shy. Because you are different and while all other guys are the same I will always be shy around you.

Daniels, you're so right, we don't want to be fed lines- the guys that do that are usually bad... but it just so happens that all you nice guys, all the really good ones, are usually quite a bit of hassle themselves. You're so shy, and usually quiet, which means we have to do all the leg work. Its exhausting, and more importantly, its terrifying because it means we have to put so much of ourselves out there, which in turn makes the fear of rejection so much worse. If someone wanted to win me over without resorting to badness, you could do what Rob here is describing- have a tiny bit of confidence, and the observant and deserving will notice.
