I didn't get into university

I applied to university for the fall of 2012 in January. Admissions were due late March, so I thought January was a good time to apply. Apparently I was very late. I never received anything in the mail about my admission status in the end of May (when letters should have been sent out), so I called the school to ask questions. Everyone I talked to was in a rush and wasn't interested in answering any of my questions. Finally, I had enough of the university admission staff blowing me off, so I went to the school to talk to someone in person. She had no information for me as well. All she said was that I had to continue to be patient because letters were still being sent out for the faculty I applied into. I checked online tonight on the university's website, and my admission was denied. This doesn't make sense to me since I graduated with an 75% average, and I attended a high school inside of the university. Basically everyone that goes to the high school gets into the university, but not me. I feel like I failed myself. I put all my hopes on the line and now I'm screwed. My dream was to be a teacher and finish my degree as fast as I could so I could start teaching. I don't know what to do, and I've never had to deal with rejection like this. What do I do now? So many things are going through my mind its hard to express everything. My biggest frustration is why I didn't get in I guess. Why me? What did I do wrong? I know a lot of people who are already accepted into this faculty, and they don't care about it. They wanted to go into this faculty because all of their friends were in it. I feel like I deserve to pursue my dreams. I'm a good student. My teachers loved me, I was involved in extra circulars through out high school. My biggest hope is crushed.
