I am 19 and i really only have one friend. I have always found it hard to make friends and meet new people i'm just a very shy person. I had a baby last year and since then i have been a lot less shy and want to meet new people but the fact that i'm a stay at home mom and my boyfriend doesn't understand the meaning of taking care of his son makes it very hard for me to do so.. Why am i such a loner #boring

One thing I found that is great about having kids? You end up meeting people with kids the same age whether you want to or not. After the first few daycare years, the little ones go to school and you have an instant something in common with a whole bunch of other gals your age. :) Hang in there...it gets easier as you get older.

Just try working on your relationship with your boyfriend, make it better somehow, and be a great mom. Maybe he can learn a few things from you, if you put the effort first. It's all about your child now. The more you do this, the better person you are and you will respect yourself more.

Isn't earning your own self respect at this point better than finding friends first?

I have a lot of respect for myself thank you very much. what i was saying is that I would love to maybe get out of the house every once in a while. I had a job for about 5 months after having my son and that was the only time in the past year i have been out so sorry for wanting a little free time. I was just thinking maybe after a year of being the best mom i could to my son looking for friends to talk to and get out with maybe once a month if that would be okay.

I hope things get better, if you need a friend I'm here, I had my first baby at 19 and my baby's dad took off back to his country I had no friends no family support then ended up flying half way around the world to get back with him, it's not easy ...i'll tell you. I know what you're going through.

Yes I agree trying to find friends, or true friends is so hard these days. Why don't you see if maybe the friend you have, can bring some of her other friends and all of you can have a lunch at your house or a happy hour. Or take your baby to the park usually there are tons of parents there. Or if you decide to sign your baby into a sport, or music you will meet more people than:) Good luck! And you always have Ep friends.
