I loved a teacher

 I could of had an affair with my principle but I didn't. I always got sent to his office for misbehaving in class or truanting. I got to know him better and he was charming, kind, sincere,  so I purposely got into trouble just to see him. He wasn't afraid to compliment me in front of my friends on how pretty I looked today or what jacket suited me(even though we weren't allowed to wear home clothes with uniforms), he always let me stay in his office to relax or get time off from exams, he use to buy me lunch and I would eat it with him.

A few months later I fell in love with him. He was more than a teacher or principle to me, he was everything. At the end of the year I told him I loved spending time with him and he said he did too. We had a moment and he was about to kiss me as I to him but I didn't. I told him I couldn't because he was married, had kids and a career and that I just couldn't stand it if he lost everything if we got caught.

After that we didn't talk or see each other. Two weeks later, he moved to another country to teach somewhere else. I asked he before he left why he was leaving, until my freaking friends came and he just said more money, but I know that wasn't the answer. He gave me a sad look when he turned to leave. I had never been so hurt in my life, I literally cried when he left and everyone was looking at me like I was crazy.  I miss him so much, sometimes I regret not kissing him but it was for the best. I wish I could of said good bye to him but I just couldn't. I guess I was or still am living on false hope that I might see him again.
