not offended, I think I actually agree with you.
Just curious, I really don't think of myself as a drinker, and truth be told I don't ordinarily like beer, but when it gets really hot out (90+) I enjoy having a beer, if its really hot I'll have 2 but that's my (self assigned) limit. In the winter I never have beer at all.
Good, bad or indifferent? -
for the most part yes. I'm sure at sometime or another I probably had 3, but for the life of me, I would almost bet my life (or that of my daughter) that I've never had an entire 6 pack. Once or twice a week I have a little wine with dinner, and if I'm ill I'll have a shot of something. If I'm out socially and there is drinking, I'll have 1 or 2, and then switch to something like ginger ale (that way I can say "I'm having an ale). I really have no problems that I want to forget or escape. I'm guessing you face yours also.1 more reply -

Nope... -
To date, I've never had an alcoholic drink. When I was small, my maternal grandfather drank too much and had a really bad temper. He also smoked like a chimney. By the age of 5, I decided I would never do either, and I've stuck to that.
Like you, I'm not opposed to people having a drink: drinking responsibly. On the other hand, it's such a sad experience to watch friends get drunk at parties and lose themselves and their dignity. I've seen it too many times. -
and i hate alcohol,i did not think about it much, untill my daughter started drinking to the point of blacking out.i wish it would be banished from the world.i hate the people who make it.i hope they all rot in hell.
I wonder if the Kennedy people have a curse for this??
