Everyday, I do nothing. Even when I go places, nothing happens. At all. I'm so bored. I talk to an imaginary boyfriend. I need to do something.

I want someone new in my life. A friend, mentor, doesn't matter. Just someone who I genuinely enjoy and can relate to. I don't have anyone like that. Which probably explains why I'm so bored. I don't have enjoyable conversations with anyone.

You could check to see if there are any mentoring programs in your area, and then discuss the possibility of you finding a mentor with your parents. Before beginning that process, it would be advisable to have an idea what you wish to be mentored in, and an understanding that mentoring is a committed relationship on both sides of mentoring. Mentoring is usually given in two types of mentoring. The first type is business mentoring, where a person seeks mentoring help from others to help them achieve higher profits or improve their personal skills for business applications. The second type is personal mentoring, where a person seeks help in addressing things such as life choices, education and career options, confidence-building, and life skills. You might be able to find a successful woman in your area who can grant you both forms of mentoring. To do so would give you an easier path to follow into a successful life than most of your peers will have in trying to find their way on their own. I hope my information and suggestions have helped you gain a better understanding of your choices regarding mentoring. I hope that if you do find a mentor, you will share your experiences with us. I'm sure there are other teens on the site who could benefit from what you have to share, and you might inspire some of them to seek mentors of their own.
