I dreamt last night that my daughter came to me with a pregnancy kit and told me she thought she was pregnant. The horror of watching that line appear in the window was awful. The result was positive. The worst thing was that she wasn't sure who the father was but told me she deliberately got herself pregnant. I was livid..... I was glad to wake up.

In reality, my daughter has no intentions of having children and isn't in a long term relationship at the moment. She's also on the contraceptive pill for medical reasons and would never sleep around. This makes the dream all that more bizarre really.

    It used to worry me when she was a teenager but she's turned twenty now and has matured in the last couple of years. I do worry about my son's girlfriend though and she is in her mid twenties. Maybe it's that.

    Dreams are strange, It is my understanding that our minds encrypt them, so while something is on your mind, things are not what they seem. Maybe it is due to your concerns about your son's girlfriend..just a guess, because I really don' know!

    It could be fear of the possible, not the probbable. If the time arrises though, I think you will handle it well.

    Maybe your daughter's pregnancy dream is not so obvious.

    Perhaps, the pregnancy represents the 'birth of a new chapter' in your daughter's life.

    Is she starting a new chapter in her life ?

    Maybe she is planning something big, like college, a new job, a new project, a new change in her outlook or personality and the two lines indicate she will be successful.

    Sometimes dreams are symbolic and you have to read between the lines to figure them out.......lol........no pun was intended.
