26yr male....Mentally over the last few months I've felt like I'm sliding down hill faster than ever,Aside from being unhappy with work and personal life I really thought I was still doing all the right things Lately I like to let myself think that I'm still on top of my game but really I've gotta remind myself that I'm taking the easy way out you see 3 months ago when things got too hectic I began smoking cannabis heavily as I did when I was a teenager,For a whole month or so it took everything away like no prescription med has!Yet now it's not doing anything for me.I'm back to where I started yet I now also have this minor addiction to taper myself of whilst trying to deal with the problem the right way!Still I'm lost

Stop beating yourself up over everything. It sounds like your being too hard on yourself. The pot wont fix your problems but I'm sure its helping you relax. If you want to stop smoking, you can. There's not a real physical addiction to it. Try stopping and think about the real issues like work & your relationship. 26 years old? You can start over on anything you want to. If you're unhappy in a situation, work on changing it. Or ending it. Everyone deserves to be happy :)
